Crew Distributions - Input Requested
 

I'm working on a program to randomly generate crews with historically accurate rank distributions. I'm hoping some of you Kreigsmarine buffs can help me get the probability density correct.

Question 1:
There are 6 enlisted ranks in SH3. What would be a resonable estimate of the % distribution of each of these ranks on a typical U-Boat? For example:
10% Matrosengefreiter
30% Mastrosenobergefreiter
25% Mastrosenhauptgefreiter
20% Bootsmann
10% Stabsbootsmann
5% Staboberbootsmann
[Keep in mind that the total must = 100%]

Question 2:
There are 3 officer ranks in SH3. Same question.

Question 3:
What would be a reasonabe minimum/maximum number of enlisted men & officers for each U-Boat type? For example:
Type II: E[15/20], O[3/5]
Type VII: E[25/30], O[3/5]
Type IX: E[35/40], O[3/5]
Type XXI: E[35/40], O[4/6]
