.wmv streaming recorder/player combo?
 

Is there any out there?

I've used NetXfer in the past and right now I'm improvising with Flashget.

These two record but I still need to use windows player to view, which means I have to have two connections, which is sucking the server unecessarily, I can't stand this inefficiency! Not to mention the occasional hiccup on either part which may affect both connections worse than it would affect only one. Or not, I wouldn't know this technical stuff.

So, any stream video recorder/player out there?

EDIT: To put it clearly: some software that RECORDS the streaming video WHILE playing it on a screen for you so you know what the hell you are recording.
