JU-88 "Shipkiller" skin

This is a JU-88 skin Im working on currently. Its not based on any bomb group, but Im trying to make it "generic" historical. The three marks on the tail represent ship kills. Comments/suggestions welcomed :smug:

Sweet looking plane. Only suggestion would be to have reversible rego number/letters on the fuselage.

Looks nice.Reminds me of my long-ago days in the Romanian Luft-waffe as a JU pilot in IL2...those were good days
Now I've been transfered to the U-boot Waffe:D
Anyway-nice work .Those textures on the cockpit and nose need a little ,refining ,shall we say.But other than that-it looks good!

I know how difficult it is to get the textures to fit in, so that and the quality of the overall skin I give you 8/10. I myself prefer more detailed skins, one color skins are boring IMO.;)

I for one really like it..it's acurate, i have it in my book and it almost looks the same, keep up the good work

The trouble with skinning the Ju-88 however is that any lettering on the fuselage gets all stretched and blurred, especially on the lower half.
I like the ship kill markers. Nice touch.

Alright I've tweaked the skin a tad more. I now have two different versions with one with full markings and the other blank. The full markings skin will have the ship kills on the tail, generic squadron emblem on the nose, and fuselage/wing codes. The only thing the blank skin will have will be the ship kills on the tail.

Okay I take that comment back.

Hope you dont mind but I've been playing around with a Mediterranean camo pattern for the Ju88, taken from a skin for a stand alone aircraft for Combat Flight Sim 3 originally created by jaycee...Still needs a bit of tweaking here and there. I had to ditch the camo pattern on the underside, it just wasn't working, but here's a sneak preview. If jaycee says it's okay with him then i'll release it, once it's all finished.

We should harrass the GW team into creating more of the multiple aircraft models for the next version, as they've already done with the B-24, to support some of these nice new skins being released...but then again I'm sure they've already thought of that. :D
