Eurpoean vs. American version DW, which one to purchase?
 

It is easier for me to get the American version( as a matter of fact it seems impossible for me to get the European one right now), but the European version is bolstered up with additional campaigns and mission, and a documentary plus manual!:yep:
So would i miss anything great should i buy the American version, or should i just wait for the European version to be made avaliable? Or via special channel?

The Europeanversion is actually pretty good (the Red Storm Rising Campaign, extra missions etc.) but there's only a pretty useless printed manual. The really detailed one is on CD and only comes as an English PDF file. Another important fact is that you can't use the LWAMI mod if you've got the European version (that's what I've heard). If that doesen't bother you then I'd say get the European version.:know:

It seems tempting to get hold of the European version, but i dont live in Europe, much less Uk, so how do i go about getting it?:hmm:

You could try to order it from BlackBean or you go to amzon or ebay. However you will not get my copy!:p :lol:

Since I don't have a cat (as a matter of fact I don't have pets nor siblings) this will be quite challenging for you!:rotfl:

But have you seen that you can donwload the European content from that site (at least the missions I think). That means you could be the American version allowing you to use the LWAMI mod and still get the extra missions? How's that for a fried slice of gold?;)

Actually you can't download the extra content from blackbeans site.
At least not for now.
Maybe in the future but who knows ?

On the site http://www.dw.blackbeangames.com/download.html it says that you can donwload either "Extra European Release" or "Extra Contents EU Release".

I did, and you will only get publicity documents stating what is included in the european release.
Nothing more and nothing less.
You CANNOT download the european extra missions from their website. :roll:
