Unfixeable engine damage...
Grr... starting patrol, got a shiny new Type IXC, wait for the mission loading... "Starboard diesel engine destroyed". Harumph. Well, nothing for it; just have to make do, I guess.
But it's the same on the next two missions, as well. The game simply starts with the diesel destroyed.:damn: I guess I could tweak the config file to allow for a bit of extra speed to compensate, but I'd really rather not. Any ideas what's doing this? I'm running no mods, only SH3Commander. |

This is a well known Stockgame Bug. It seems that he comes and goes! Your Diesel will still work normally!:hmm: |
Hmm sure its not the sabotage part of SH3 commander doing it?

Guys this is definately not Sabotage/Malfunctions related. When one of the engine files is chosen all it does is reduce the performance(sometimes a little and sometimes a lot), it never destroys or disables an engine entirely-
diesel or E motor makes no difference. The whole idea was to make it rather subtle, at least a majority of the time anyway. Cheers! |
