removing bottom graphics in GW
 

Hi all,

I installed GW and love it, but am still tweaking with custom settings. I understand you can change all while just reinstalling GW, except the bottom graphics. Does anyone know if I can remove them manually?

Do you mean the Leer.tga in C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Menu\Gui\Layout ?

You can replace it with your own of same dimensions

Nope, I mean the seafloor graphics. Sometimes my framerate drops a tadd too much, so I want to try without these. I just don't know which files they are and if I can just delete them or replace them with files from the dvd?

Yes, I'm using 1.1a.
I found and deleted the files, thanks. A whopping 80 mb in 2 TGA's no less, no wonder it's a framerate-eater!:doh:

Was there not an option to install stock floor on 1.1A ?
Am using the old 1.0 and 1.1 myself and that came with the stock seafloor as an optional mod
