New Intro's with Blue Theme
 

Hi, I have done another 2 intros in a blue theme with the Das Boot & Silent Hunter III titles, hope these are OK!:D

Nice. More stuff for my Random folder.

That blue Silent Hunter screen is actually really good. I recommend you go into an image editing program and make the loading bar blue as well. A red bar just does not look good with that. The same goes with the red bar in the Silent Hunter III logo, although I don't know about changing the game logo. It's pretty unorthodox to do so.

I like blue far better than red seeing this is, after all, a naval game.

I never thought of the Red loading bar but will do a check for the appropriate file & make a change, I don't think UBI would care if the logo bar is changed, so long as it's all free!:up:

I have others now including SingleMission/Career tga but not sure how to pack or present as the files combined would be huge unless I change to jpg but that's a lossy format.:-? It's just that I think the posts for each screen would be a little overdone if you know what I mean!:D I will have to ponder what to do with them.

PD : I have some problem with the download... no extension, is SH3, no .zip. no .rar. no .7z, must it to add some extension to the file ?

Most strange!:-? The file should be "SH3_Intro_s_Blue.rar" Something must have happened on their end, try renaming it & if that fails I will upload it again.:yep:

No file that comes down from Hyperupload has an extension
I normally just rename and stick .rar at the end
Not sure why - peculier to that site only

Loading Bar ??

Safe-Keeper, I tried to find the associated file for the loading bar but failed, it may be hard coded maybe someone can point me to it!:D

I made it gray once, so no, it's not hard-coded.

I seem to re-call it's a .tga file someplace. Two .tga files, actually, one for the bar and one for the right edge of it. If you know what I mean, which you probably don't:-?.

I remember them as little square images (not more than 10x10 pixels or so).

Unusual tga format ?
 

That's what's strange, I went through the entire SH3 directory structure and edited all of the tgas' to blue & tested with no joy, they are:
EndZone.tga
Point.tga
rarrow.tga
vtarrow0.tga
vtarrow1.tga
vtarrow2.tga
vtarrow3.tga

I DL'd the red Das Boot intro with no problem but this blue themed intro DL'd as an unknown file - not a tga. Any chance of you putting it on rapidshare or file front. Similiar problem with a Bismarck intro I just tried DL'ing.

BTW-These are great.

It's the strangest thing. I editted "point.tga" in Data/Menu/Loading, turning it blue to fit the Grey Wolves loading screen, but it only affects the mission loading bar, not the one on the opening loading screen.

Hi Hemisent, what ever the name of the file was just name it to whatever.rar & should be ok! Safe-Keeper, I have created some campaign loading screens so will be usefull for these!;) But don't know the file for the main loading screen, someone reading this may know & then let us know!:D
