I have the L\M class so just removed the 4 ships in this release from mine Have added class to SH3commander ship names too so should get a name when I sink 1 Cant wait for the next:rock: Just had a look at the Wicher \Bourrasque class Will you be doing both different ? http://uboat.net/allies/warships/class.html?ID=285 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wicher_class_destroyer |
This is one class:
Wicher = Simone (PL.mod.) Class = II part destroyers of Burrasque class "Les Torpilleurs De 1500 Tonnes Du Type BOURRASQUE" Wicher/Burza french build for PMW (Polish Navy) destroyers Bourrasgue/Simon Class only small modification Very big problem comisionet Burza - many, many defect, bugs ect. Finaly polish govermnent relegate this contract to International Arbitrage Next Polish destroyers Grom/ Błyskawica bulit J. Samuel Wite & Co. Ltd., Cowes - this Very good ships.... |

Maybe I read it wrong http://aj-press.home.pl/images/rekl/eow28_s_85.jpg Picture of ORP Wicher and her sister ship side by side at Gdynia harbour |
Do you plan to make any other Polish WW2 ships?
ORP Conrad and Dragon? http://www.warship.get.net.pl/WBryta...on_photos.html These could also be used as British cruisers ( which they were ) The Jaskółka class were built in Gdynia I just noticed - not really had a look at the Polish navy before so for that I thank you:up: :hmm: You had a M class destroyer and a N class too so I will add them to my Polish roster - and the Hunts too Very interesting |
Soory maybe my english - my "translator"(son) going into beach :sunny:
Wicher is very similar class to french Bourrasgue/Simon Class desytoyers. Only small modyfications - A-A artilery, equipments ect. Generaly this class is identicaly. look: 1545BRT 107m 4 x 130, 6 tt 550 Wicher 33000KM 33kn 1298BRT 106m 4 x 130 (4 x 5.1"), 6 tt 550 Bourrasque 31000KM 33kn wg. uboat.net Burza reconstructed 1955 - this foto en.wikipedia.org After reconstruction carring 4 x 100mm AA ect. Only two stacks. Orginaly Wicher and Simon this is one class - in my humble opinion...:know: |
