Friend needs help with NYGM and black screen
 

When my friend enables NYGM 2.0 through the JSME and then copies the files from the NYGM to SHIII commander and starts via this he gets a black screen and the HD light flickers every once in a while. He has reinstalled the game several times and still the same, anyone got any ideas as to what to try or if not what information you need to help him. Any comments would be appreciated.

This may be the problem....why would your friend need to do that?


You need to tell more about what is meant by doing that that.

NYGM is a mod.

SH3 Commander is a separate program that controls various aspects of SH3 for the player.

Or did you mean to say JSGME instead of SH3 Commander?

Because the NYGM mod needs some additional files to be added to SH3 commander before you can use SH3commander

There are some posts on NYGM Thread about this exact same problem.

It was caused by the player forgeting to rollback, and uninstall SH3 CDR 2.5, before installing SH CDR 2.6. The poster says that solved the problem. If you pop over there and read those posts it might help.
