Fuel?

May be I don't understand something here,

I am in my fifth day of my first mission in a IIA and the fuel gauge doesn't seems to move at all.

I am playing with GW 1.1 and SH Commander 2.6.

Do I have unlimited fuel and I have to choose in option of some sort ''limited fuel''

Am I missing something here?
I left Kiel to go NW of Bergen

Thank you!

You sure it isn't turned off in the realism settings when starting a patrol?

Default it is switched to unlimited fuel I think.

If it is the case, can I switch it to limited fuel in the middle of my patrol, or I should wait when I'll be back.

Can I change it at all in my career?

Thanks

And BTW where is it actually (Option, realism or in SH Commander?)

No you cant change in mid patrol im afraid
You will have to wait till your next patrol
Its in realism - just before you click start to load the mission

Another question is, how fast have you been travelling? A type IIA has fuel for 5-6 weeks if you conserve it well. If you've been travelling at a slow speed it might not have started to drop yet. Still, after five days it should have started to drop a little.

Actually you can check and change the realism settings by loading up a single mission. Before the mission starts there is a 'Change Realism' option, and it changes it for the whole game, not just that mission.

Sailor Steve-
Isn't the renown award at end of patrol effected by the realism %.
If realism has an effect and is changed during mid patrol, what do you think renown would be based on - Pre or Post change?

Yup - Change Your Realism Settings

Yup - Change Your Realism Settings

Ran a Type IIA up into 1944, and you should be getting a registered fuel loss after five days, and sooner than that even at slow speed.

Sailor Steve has alot of experience as evidenced by the number of posts but I think hes thinking of the IID which has added saddle tanks for additional fuel when he talks about 5 week voyages. Ive gone out, loosed all torpedoes, and got back on electric power because thats all I had left, and I dont recall five weeks passing by, and Im miserly with speed settings.

An interesting thing to do is stay with the IIa, & move it to La Spezia when you get the chance for some sportscar Mediterranean action.

By the way, as evidenced by actual WWII uboat statistics, you are going to die so dont get to upset when this happens.

I once ran out of fuel on my way back to Wilhelmshaven, went pd on batteries until they ran out, and stopped to charge. Then I suddenly had fuel again? Why?

High CO2 Level, Halucigenic Gas, or Ergot Poisoning

Could be high CO2 level, Halucigenic Gas, or Ergot poisoning.

Or how about stop trolling the forums with questions you cant even be bothered spending 2 minutes thinking about.
