I have read about war news on the gammphone and morse code sounds but have yet been able to get it to work. All I get is music. I am using GW 1.1a and SH3 2.6 however I had the same problem with the vanillia install. What am I doing wrong. As a matter of fact since installing GW much of my crews reports have gone away.

The war news over the grammaphone comes with SH3 Commander. Look in your Data/Sound/Grammaphone folder to see if there are any files labelled 'Radio'. First they only load up by date, one per month (and not every single month), then they play at random, so you may not hear one for a great length of time, then hear it two or three times in one day.

What music do you have loaded in the Grammaphone folder? You might want to visit Terrapin's site and download some of the music packs there.

Also, when you say all you get is music, is it the regular background music or actual songs? Did you tell the radioman to turn the grammaphone on?

I get music. I have donloaded music packs but couldn't tell you whos. What randomizer?:88)

SH3 Commander has its own randomizer built in. 'Randomize Grammaphone Tracks' is one of the options you can choose.

If you're not using it the songs will always play in alphabetical order, so 'Radio' will be way down the list.

Will Church's war news bundle work in with SH3?
