can you save your game in NYGM ver.2

I'm wondering if you can make a backup of your saved game to a cd or on a hard drive. It is the 2nd time this happen to me. I was in the middle of a career campaign, 27 days at sea, playing for about a week already. I play every night for around 2 hours, then save and cont. the next day. Today I try to reload my saved game just like everyday but this time there is nothing show on my saved menu. I don't know what happen? have anyone else experience this? everything disappeared....a blank screen to reload from your current carrer. The only thing you can do now is to start a new carreer. All the work and effort is gone. I'm so mad. It's not fun at all.

Not saying it is related to NYGM 2 but some of us had the same problem.

Someone said that renaming your career folder would bring them back. Did not work for me but mine was a special case. All my saves got strained out by a AV program for some reason or the other....and wouldn't work when I restored them. Beyond belief.

saved games

The only time I have had a problem with saved games is with NYGM Tonnage War 2.0. I have loaded a saved game and immediately had a collision and was killed. When I saved I was in the middle of the ocean with nothing in sight, clear weather and no contact on the hydrophone.
This has happened a couple of times .

No problems with NYGM at all although I have had problems with loading saves of single missions since the vanilla version. I load and the boat seems to hit something and immediatly die. This has happened top me a couple of times.

IMO a good idea is using simple filenames for your savegames.
I always use names like "a1" or "p2" or something like that.
Didnīt sufferd any savegame corruption so far...
