LoBlo's links

I've always use FAS as a good source of informaiton for american ship stats. http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ship/index.html

And there are a few articles on the Harpoon3 site that are interesting reads as well http://www.harpoonhq.com/waypoint/ - very nice link  , try for example "In Peril On the Sea: The ASCM threat and countermeasures"

-----

to be continued...

P.S. Some articles I had are not online anymore, or I can't find them with Google, so I put them on my personal page for you, some were saved without pictures that's why they are lacking pictures now.

Please reply once in this thread and put YOUR interesting links if you have any !

Cool stuff, I think this should be made a sticky and also moved to the mods forum.

Vasilly 06-15-06 04:27 PM

Linton, if it's the second link down you are on about, open a page, click once on a word, press and hold CTRL+A (which should highlight all the text and diagrams), open M$ Word, go back to the web-page, press CTRL+C, change to make M$ Word active and press CTRL+V. This should give you a copy of the web-page.

You may need to do a little bit of moving the pictures around to make everything fit.

Bill or John or Jamie or somebody with mod powers on this forum, can you please move this to the mods forum? Thanks! :)

Amizaur 06-16-06 05:54 AM

Why to mod forum ? It's not only for modders, for players too ! Even for stock DW, but as mod is more realistic then for LwAmi mod players those reads are even more recommended.

LuftWolf 06-16-06 05:57 AM

Well, for me, the primary reason being that I can moderate the thread from there, since I'm a moderator on the Mods Forum.

Wow, great links! Really good stuff, Amizaur:up: This is enough leisure reading to last a few months.

PS) if you don't want the thread to spread out, just take all the additional links that persons provide and edit them into your first post i.e.

LoBlo's links
link 1
link 2

that should keep things tidy
