St. Nazaire Sub Pens
I have a picture of St. Nazaire sub pens which is 180 x 118 which is too small for my intended use of it. I tried resizing it to 1024 x whatever, but it goes blurry. Does anyone have a larger picture of the sub pens (1024 x whatever). If so, PM me. Do not post them here.

Linton,
Yes, those boats are in a bombed out and half-collapsed pen in Hamburg. There are three type XXI's. I believe the owner has filled it up with gravel now as too many souvenir hunters were coming in and the boats supposedly weren't safe enough any more. What a shame. Apparently, the site is privately owned and many curious folk scaled the fences to take a peek or steal a gauge or something. Read the story and see the pictures at http://uboat.net/history/hamburg_elbe2.htm. Kind regards, Eichenlaub |
