Whilst playing a Sub Sim, I

1) Sit way too close to the screen
2) Cheer when I get a kill
3) Have Sub movies on in the background
4) Sleep (I have PA going on 1x TC >_>)
5) Listen to music, such as Stevie Wonder, Kraftwerk and Vietnam era

What about you guys? :D

Am riveted to the screen. When not looking at the screen I'm taking notes for my log.

Many times while in SH3 i have Alt-tab to the desktop and surfed the net only to go back to my game and find i have been sunk. :nope: Apart from that, i usually read a good uboat book while waiting to find a contact.

Same Here! I just Read "Das Boot" for the First Time!:D

Whilst Playing a Sub Sim, I:

1)Post Here.;)
2)Jell "ALLAAAAAAARM" Before Pressing "C"...:rotfl:! No Seriously!
3)Pet my Cat. She only comes if i play on my PC, cos that usually means i sit still for hours...:p
4)Drink "Powerrade", the Official drink of the Olympics, to avoid Falling Asleep before Finishing Patrole.

:D

1) Play the darn thing while giving myself time to 'smell the flowers' (i.e., for SHIII that means just dropping down to 1xTC and watching the waves every once in a while, or taking a tour through the interior with the free camera, to study rivets :p)

2) Listen to music (normally the grammophone packs + classical + Das Boot soundtrack)

3) Take down notes in my ever-growing collection of logs. A notepad is always on my desk and gets filled with notes even when I'm not actually making a coherent career log.

4) Stare at the charts and U-boat schemes I have all over my walls! When that fails, I go through the small atlas I have on my desk.

5) Talk to my brother if he comes in, or have occasional conversations with friends on IM (Alt+Tab is my friend!)

6) Check the forums! (I said Alt+Tab is my friend...)

7) In the more extreme cases, exercise (a few push-ups or curls never hurt anyone... I think), or cook (sometimes results in burned pottery, especially if I suddenly get detected and have to evade some depth charges...)

Read a book and have a cup of tea, write a letter of complaint to my council about the bloody pigeon hooting for the last three months day and night which is driving me around the bend. Stick the gramophone on loud to try and blot out that bloody hooting pigeon. Have a cat Knapp only to be woken up by "Contact bearing." And with luck it's a nice juicy target, time to swing in to action. ;)
