Multiple Installations...How to.

He He,

Decided to put DW back on my HD. looks like I might be missing out on some MP fun and would love to take someone on.

But I would like to have 2 installs, one vanilla 1.03 patch, the other with LUFT Mod.

I can't find instructions anywhere.

CAre to help.

By using the JSGME.exe program you can actually use one DW installation with different mods.
Intsall the JSGME program into the Dangerous Waters directory, create a folder called MODS and inside that folder put the mod you're interested in.
For instance for the lwami mod create a "DW directory"/MOD/LWAMI/Database and "DW directory"/MOD/LWAMI/Doctrine folders inside which you will put the modified database and modified doctrines.

Run the JGSME program and it will give a choice to automatically enable the lwami and backupping the standard 1.03 version.
Once you are finished playing you can reenable the default version.

Or you can do what I do.

1. Install the 1.03 patch. Copy the entire Dangerous waters folder into a backup.
2. Then install LWA. Copy the entire Dangerous waters folder into a backup called LWA.
3. Whichever you want to play at a time, copy and paste that entire folder into your current Dangerous waters folder and play.

Crude? Yes, but gets the job done IMHO

JSGME does that automatically.
One click and you're good to go.
And it works not only for 1 mod but for n different mods since the program takes care of the different mods and backups.
