The Producers
 

I was wondering if anyone here has seen the new musical version of The Producers, starring Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Uma Thurman, and Will Ferrell. If you haven't, I would definately suggest you watch it. For one its hilarious, and 2nd, it has Will Ferrell. Where do you think I got my sig from?

You have to see the original movie. Zero Mostel is brilliant as Max Bialystok and Gene Wilder is classic as Leo Bloom. Bloom's anxiety attack is the stuff of cinematic legend. Kenneth Mars is wonderful as the playwright and Dick Shawn as the Hippy Hitler. Even Renee Taylor as a Jewish Eva Braun. See this first before you see the new version.

The original movie is great, is there a good reason why I should watch the new version?

Of course the original is great, we are talkin Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder. But, if you havent seen the broadway musical of The Producers (again, made by Mel Brooks), watch this, the songs are great and hilarious, and the movie is funny as well. Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick turn in an excellent performance.
