Please Help
Hey Herr Kaluens!!
I have a major problem. Ive been playing with the NYGM TW Mod without any major crashes or problems, until now. I just finished my fourth patrol with a lil over 55,000 tonnage. I kno... But i got the ritterkreuz! Its January 11th and i requested a transfer to the 29th flotilla. As soon as i hit "Apply for Transfer" the screen goes black and it kicks me back to desktop. What happened?? This never happened before SH3 Commander and NYGM TW are the major mods im using. Im gonna try to apply to another base right now after i restart my comp. See if that works. |
I think you are too eager. Perhaps wait a patrol and try again. By then you should be totally within the 29 Flotilla availability "window".
|
Okay i was thinking that too.
ALso i was trying to find a way around the beam transfer. Can i just sail to La SPezia and request a transfer there?? |
:hmm: Good question. This is what irks me - the "teleport" to Italy. I can just picture my fully sailable sub being thrown on a train for transportation...not...
If you sail there, will you be able to transfer there as you won't be docked at your home base? Or will it not matter because it's still an active Axis base? I mean, I know there's limitations when docked in neutral ports, but I don't know how far they extend when in "other" Axis ports. |
Any1 know if i am able to change base at another axis sub base? For i.e.. Like i sail from Brest to La Spezia and change bases there? I dont want to waste dangerous trip for nothing. And go through Gibralter twice in 2 patrols!
|
As far as I understand you are not able to do that. If your in the 1st flotilla out of brest and want to be in the 29th flotilla in the med you have to do the trasfer while based at brest. I tried switching early in the war from kiel to willamshaven and I was unable to untill i docked back at kiel
Till then Happy Hunting :) |
dang so there is no way around the teleporting eh?? Thats so laaammee!! I coulda sworn i was able to base change in stock SH3. :(
