Plotting an Intercept
I dowlnoaded and read Dantenoc's revised plotting. However when I follow the instructions, his images show a compass. See insert 1: (his step 2)

Well this is not included in the stock game. You may find it in one of the nav and plotting mods out there. Take a look at this topic here! http://www.subsim.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=52924
Its the legendary Bearing overlay :hmm: |
If you have a SH3 game patched to 1.4b for example, in navmap click on the "?" in the upper right corner and then you can use the tools like this picture you posted.

Using the "?" as you indicate will do this for me? - in combindation with what other key? Thanks to everyone who has given me help and good recommendations. It is greatly appreciated! |
Well, You don't understand me. I'll try to make you easy to understand what I meaned.
First picture: I meaned this question mark. http://img122.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sh3img13gz.jpg Second picture: And when select question mark then pick up tool you want. Ruler, protractor or compass. http://img122.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sh3img20cv.jpg In this picture I pick up the ruler. For this you must have a game patched to 1.3 or I suggest the last 1.4b. |
Thanks a bunch, I always wondered where the compass came from. Parden me for being so stupid after so many patrols. I always calculated my intercepts with pencil, straight edge, and dividers.
