USAF went Airborne, who would have thunk it.

I know this is old news (feb 04), but this kind of blew me out of the water.

I used to be in Red Horse, so this makes me a little bit more proud to have been part of that number, but i have to wonder if i would have volunteered for that. I think when i was 21 or 22 i would have, but these days at 32.. no way man! Theres something inheirantly wrong about an Airman jumping out of a perfectly good airplane!

As a former Army paratrooper myself that's one of the few things i'd respect even from a bunch of Air Farce dudes...

Can you guess which unit i was in?

As a pilot who once did a parachute jump with the army (because I foolishly thought it might be useful to have experience of it), I can assure you I will not be jumping out of my aircraft again any time soon unless the wings have fallen off. I did not like the experience one little bit.

:D Chock

Thunk is the noise the English language makes when it hits the floor after being murderd. :D
