Stbd. Diesel Destroyed - Commander Glitch?
Within this last week, I have installed the latest version of SH3 Commander, version 2.50.86.
Now when I boot up, it shows my starboard diesel destroyed. Fortunately, I am able to remedy this by saving and exiting back to "Career" and then booting again from within SH3. Then it doesn't happen. The only drawback is the long wait while the game is loading (for the second time). Has anyone else seen this? Regards, Miss Behavin' |
Do you have any other mods installed?

Thank you for that link. I've been reading them but so far haven't seen anything that I've done unusual.
I am running two personas over at WaW and this happens with both of them. One is with a IXC and the other is a VIIC/41. Both are run with GW/NYGM TW/Enhanced Unified Campaign mods. All installed by the JSGME utility. The IXC departs Flensburg and the VII from Bergen. When installing Commander, I did as instructed by first removing the old version, then did a Rollback before starting up Sh3. To the best of my recollection, I have made no other changes other than upgrading SH3 Commander. At least it's fixable by reloading from the last save within the game, just irritating. Other than that, I love it! Please don't think I'm knocking Commander, it's a great program. I'm certain it's some little glitch somewhere that will eventually get worked out. Cheers! Miss Behavin' |
Open ..\SH3 Commander\Cfg\Miscellaneous.cfg
Look for the lines: IXC=NSS_Uboat9c|x2C43|275 IXC/40=NSS_Uboat9c|x2C43|275 Change them to: IXC=NSS_Uboat9c|x3007|275 IXC/40=NSS_Uboat9c|x3007|275 Problem then goes away. |
Thank you!!!
I'll do that right away. You guys are great! Cheers! |
Just remember that depending on where your career is at, you may continue to get the destroyed message until the beginning of your *next* patrol.

Just loaded up and that did the trick! :D :D :D
No message. Diesels normal and functional. Thanks again for the help, and so fast too!! If you guys ran the stores I go to, I'd come to you exclusively! Cheers! Miss Behavin' |
stbrd engine disabled
I get the same mesage with the new CMDR, but the engine works normally. I get both screws working, normal speeds at all settings and normal battery recharging and normal speeds when recharging. (I think the stbrd engine is the one which recharges the batteries.)
Thanks for the info Jaasen; I will make the required changes in my CMDR file. irish1958 |
