LWAMI - Good idea it for a newbie ?
Just wondering chaps, is it a good idea to learn the ropes with all the default kit, or should I install LWAMI as soon as I get my new software ?
Ive been playing the Demo for about a fortnight, and remember the basics from 688i, (but that was a llloooonnnnnng time ago)! Any recommendations ? Bests V |
I would stay away from the new advanced torpedo mod until you get the hang of the game, but LW/Ami isn't any more "advanced" than stock DW. The main effect of the mod is to fix things that are broken in DW, or to make things function the way one would expect them to. I'd go for it right away. In some sense, it is more challenging though, because the AI performs "as you would expect them to" instead of as the deaf, dumb, and blind cannon fodder they are in the stock game.

Make sure you read the LWAMI 3.02 readme very closely if you decide to use it.
