No Enemy Aircraft
 

I'm not sure what the problem is, but I'm running GW 1.1/Tongage MOD/real convoys/ and SH 3 Commander.

For some reason, There are no Allied aircraft. Ive tried different periods, espeically late war, reinstalled it a couple of times and not run the compression past 256k speed. Still no aircraft every appear to harass me!

Any idea of the cause and what I could to to correct this problem?

I use RuB 1.45, and I get attacked all the time by aircraft even at 1024TC.

I don't think the issue with no aircraft spawning has been fully figured out.

Maybe there is something that happens that shuts down all airbases from spawning correctly.

I always use type VIIs.

What type of boat were you using?
What flotilla were you in?
Any upgrades?
What port were you sailing from?

I generally use the 1st Flt in Brest, Type VII But I've tried several others ports, dates, uboats etc including the 29th in the Med. Some issue--no aircraft. I too used RUB145 and was attacked infrequently early and much more later--looked about right from what I've read. But since I switced to the GW etc--nothing.

I hate to go back but it is unrealistic right now

Is there a part of RUB to use for this or another mod?

I think the Airstrike Mod is included in RuB, but GW incorporates RuB 1.45, so I don't know what to say, only that several folks have brought this up.

Perhaps I'll try installing RUB 1.45 and then GW's etc overtop and see if that solves the problem. Everything else works great, just no aircraft-frustrating

You're complaining that there are no aircraft!!! When you hit 1944 there all over you like a bad rash, so enjoy it while it lasts.

:lol: :lol: :lol: You got that right ! ! Its really getting very irritating in late 44 .. its like the whole British airforce comming at once some times .. I think I had 20 swarmming all over me just after leaving Brest .... this was just after the bombers tore up the docks and sunk a few merchants and destoyers in the bay :(


edit.. I am using Rubini 's mod Harbour_Traffic_1.43

I use the same mod, but without the airpower mod. I'm constantly being attacked just off Lorient in early 1941! I took a pic of me and another U-boat getting it. We both survived :)

I have not got that problem am now in 41 sailinging out of Lorient and I do get harrassed by enemy aircraft Hurricanes at the momment,but no doubt those annoying Sunderlands will be upsetting me very shortly.
