Well, now I think you can call my Lucky...

I was coming back to Kiel after zero patrol to Norway coast, sitting in captains cabin having some tea and typing last notes to my war diary when the boat strucked something... All lights went down, small fire in the control room, flooding in the bow... "Stop the engines!" I shouted and rushed to the bridge. Somehow I allready knew it's the subnet on southern side of bay and so it was. Boat laid in rough angle her starboard side much lower than left side. After I was sure all damages are under control and we are not going down, I run engines backwards and got the boat back to freedom. But the real surprise waited us in Kiel, after we got her docked... "Rumpfzustand" was 4,79! 4,79! :huh: So it was pretty close we didn't went down with her!

Two months in the dockyard... I think it's mirricul I wasn't transferred to another duties on shore... :oops:

I had to re-install the Harbour Traffic mod, and I completely forgot about the no mines and subnets file I usually use. I went to Freetown, sank a couple of ships in harbour then was maneuvering to sink some more. I started taking damage and couldn't figure out what was going on until I took a look with the external camera;

I didn't take much damage thankfully. The miracle was that I checked the Campaign_SCR.mis afterwards. I had sailed at periscope depth in and out of Freetown....right through a minefield :o

One lucky boat :D
