About time compression

Hello, I was wondering, how can you manually changethe maximum time compression in different situations? For example, when an enemy armed travler is close, the max time compression is 32x, and if you use that the crew suddenly get "weaker" too fast.
So how could I change that reading to 256x or something like that?

Is there other settings, which could be modified by me to make the game run better?
Thanks.

You can use SH3 commander to change the time compression values. Or you can edit two cfg files. The first one is Ubisoft/Silent Hunter III/data/cfg/Main.cfg. Open with notepad and change the time compression vaules. Next you have to go to My Documents/SH3/data/cfg/Main.cfg and change the vaules there as well.

However the best & easiest way is thru SH3 commander. It is a MUST HAVE mod.

Thanks, can I change the screen resolution to a higher value with the same method?

Yes, SH3Commander is the best and absolutely "must have" stuff and help you to change time compresion.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to change resolution via SH3Commander yet (but I think that Jaesen Jones will include it in future).

Ok, is it possible to change the screen resolution by editing the main.cfg files?
