Battle Of Britian II-Sounds Off Topic-But Isn't
 

This game by Shockwave included in their 2.3 patch a neat little utility.

If the player wanted to use it this utility, it turned off all unnecessary background programs/processes/services then started the game.

Would it be possible for one of our computer literate modders to develop something similar for SHIII?

OR

Is there possibly a generic utility of this type all ready available that the SHIII player could run before starting the sim?

The one from Shockwave was good because in order to get all your general computing processes/services/programs back was to reboot your machine. I really hate turning things off permanently only to have to look them up again to reactivate when I need to run some particular program.

Just by the way Seminole, have you sent off for the free keycard & manual? Waiting for the next patch in early June I believe, the only thing that spoils the game is no multiplay, :cry: other than that it's great! :up:

I just use that up dater (W.O.V.2.03)
instead of updating I skip and it takes you to the shut down unneeded part

EndItAll is the one I used until I bought my current machine (doesn't need it).

FSAutoStart is great, got it set up witrh profiles for SH3, and IL2 on and offline.

?????.... I got a keycard and manual when I bought the game didn't you? I fooled around with BoBII for a month or so and decided it wasn't for me. It is gone from my system....though I may reinstall it just to get that utility back. I can't extract it from the patch without having the game installed :down: However....That utility is much more clever than the Enditall2 that was recommended has turned out to be.


I shot my bolt playing the original release of BoB for many months, after it was first released, and to me the new one is simply a BDG updated version of the old that brought in way too many new bugs (this was inexcusable)...like it is nearly impossible to play from the German side because now the escorts won't do their job....I could go on with more examples but this isn't the time or place for that.

Ahhh...that FS Auto start sounds more like the Shockwave utility I described....I will certainly try it.....thaks for the headsup!
