Queen Mary 2 The Atlantic run

Ok so yet another challenge has arrived and a new test for me.

I shall take command of the Queen Mary 2, and take her from manhattan to Southampton it should take just one week, i plan to leave at noon monday the 1st of may and i should be able to end on saturday the 6th.

Some spec's.

Queen Mary 2 displaces 150,000 tonnes and is 1,135 feet long 147 feet wide with top speed of 30 knots.

Pictures and what not coming soon follow on the journey!

I have not checked for about a month, but I do not believe there is a North Atlantic map for VS.

I hope your passengers have life insurance Kapitan, with you at the helm tanked up on alcohol. My bet you will loose a dust up with an iceberg, well all I can say is rest in peace. Opps sorry I meant to say good luck you crazy Ivan you. :ping:

Im not that bad plus ive had to cut down on the drink, ever since i bought that crate of cobra beer.

Anyway she will be roughly fully loaded and a small sprint at 27 knots so 6 days should be fine.

Yes thats when im commanding 10,000 tonnes of war machine thats tanked up with missiles torpedos and nuclear fuel, not a 150,000 tonne liner with 2,000+ passengers.

Ive had a few accident not alot a few we all have them.

I was in the med monitering a task force when i was run over by the USS John C Stennis.

I had been shadowing the fleet for a few days when i decided to get in close so i raced ahead and waited only when i poped up to get a visual i found the nimitz heading straight for me.

I dived just not quick enough and my rear end was hit by the bow which forced my sub upwards till i hit the sail on her hull, i broke left at full speed managing to get out of the way before the screws ripped through my hull.

Severly damaged i headed back to the black sea home base.
