Halifax recon report
 

Just to test the harbor traffic part of Grey Wolves mod, I made a single mission to visit Halifax harbor in Oct 39 with a type VII boat.

I wondered if the harbor traffic was just for German/European ports.

Well, I am happy to report that traffic was just as busy in and around Halifax as in Kiel.

I snuck in to within 300m of the deepest docks through multiple sound contacts of warships and merchants.

I didn't see much due to the weather, but at the end of my run, when I was about to turn around I spotted two medium tankers at anchor.

Two hits on one of them, a miss on the other, and I am out of here!
Wish me luck! I have to get all the way out past the patrols now.
Water depth is 15 meters, so escape once detected is impossible.
