Hello everyone,

My computer crashed last week, and I had to put
everthing back on.
I downloaded SHII and it went thru fine,
then I downloaded the Pacific Aces
and when I went to play the game, it gives me
SHII need hardware configuration
and it wont 'start' the game.....I think i had this happen
before, but forgot what to do...does anyone know?!!!

What sound driver is the best for pacific aces

i know with the newer ones, pacific aces does not run

What kind of PC, O/S, and sound device do you have? What sound driver did you have in place before the crash?

If you are running Win XP set the config.exe to compatibility with Win 98SE (Right click and go to compatibility label). Theoretically, once you have past the config screen, the game should work fine :-?

I have all, or most, of the patches here:

DOWNLOADS

but deleted the rain mod as it was being reported as "bugged". There are one or two other files in there not related though.
