Help - Can't play with "XP-Pro x64"
 

I just got a new computer with XP Pro x64 and I can't play the game because of error saying game is incompatible with operating system.

Please tell me I can do something about this. :damn:

This has been discussed before so do a search. Believe it was resolved by the latest official patch.

Well I'll keep searching, no luck so far. I installed patch, but still can't play. If anyone can direct me to thread, I'd appreciate it.

SH3 itself runs fine under x64, but the Starforce copy protection doesn´t. There is no official solution, Ubisoft never fixed that.

Hmm - Try a no cd crack to bypass the copy protection issue.

But thats the only solution that will make it work.
Since Ubi doesn't want to solve it then it's natural that people will solve it doing their own way.

Even if it would cure a cancer, anything related to piracy is banned in SubSim. :rotfl:

Since when NoCDs are Piracy?

As far as I know it only piracy when you don't possess the game.

What is Subsim.com's stance in relation to warez and piracy?
