Help - Can't play with "XP-Pro x64"
I just got a new computer with XP Pro x64 and I can't play the game because of error saying game is incompatible with operating system.
Please tell me I can do something about this. :damn: |
Do a search - resolved
This has been discussed before so do a search. Believe it was resolved by the latest official patch.
|
Well I'll keep searching, no luck so far. I installed patch, but still can't play. If anyone can direct me to thread, I'd appreciate it.

SH3 itself runs fine under x64, but the Starforce copy protection doesn´t. There is no official solution, Ubisoft never fixed that.

Try One of the No Cd Cracks
Hmm - Try a no cd crack to bypass the copy protection issue.

Since Ubi doesn't want to solve it then it's natural that people will solve it doing their own way. |
Even if it would cure a cancer, anything related to piracy is banned in SubSim. :rotfl:

As far as I know it only piracy when you don't possess the game. |
What is Subsim.com's stance in relation to warez and piracy?
SUBSIM Review has a longstanding policy against software piracy. We do NOT allow discussion or even mention of warez, abandonware, peer-to-peer game swapping, illegal download sites, or rip-off websites. Nothing will get you banned faster than pointing people to illegal software distribution sites. Don't ask for serial numbers, manuals, or cracks. Any admission that you have in your possession illegal software can and usually will result in revocation of your Radio Room forum account. Support computer game programmers buy legally purchasing their work. They have to eat too, you know. Maybe that clarifies things. |
