Giving orders via your microphone?
 

I was thinking is there any way to give your ship orders via your microphone? Like you shout AAALLAAARM in your mic and it corresponds to pressing the C key on your keyboard?

Prefferably in German? I think something like that would be great if it would work without mayor flaws (like you wife coming coming in, yabbing about and meanwhile fire you whole torpedo rack) :lol:

check in the download section of this site there is a voice activation mod that some have used. I've heard mixed reviews, some people had major problems making it work. I believe there is a thread or 2 on this foum about it as well.

I bought some software years ago for Silent Hunter II. It is called Game Commander and I still use it for SH3. I use earphones and boom mike. Easy to program for the keys. I just lie on my bunk and give my orders.

Better experience screaming out ALARM then fumbiling for the C key.

I use Shoot 1.6.4

you have to download a speach profile for SHIII in the download section of this site. SHIII.xml

Using the Speech Recognition feature in Windoze XP :zzz: combined with the shoot program I get excellent results. :D

you have to train XP a bit so that it can get use to your accent, etc...

but well worth it...
