Reminds me of a campaign from Germany several years ago, a spot against Neonazis. It showed rightwing radicals with their right arm raised for the Hitlergruß, and commented in a very sad and compassionate tone on the massive handicaps they are facing in everyday life, and that they deserve our sympathy and help in their misery: doors in lifts do not shut with their arms between the doors, on a party they cannot move around and turn without pushing glasses and hitting guests, in bed with their girlsfriends the girl always must be on top, for it doesn't work the other way around; and they always need to call their mummies if they want to go shopping, for they run the risk of braking their arm when hanging too many bags on it (not to mention the difficulty to reach for their purse and pay). :lol:

I like how they say “Pakistan's air force says standards must be maintained� while the image above shows a bunch of guys screwing around with an old MiG-17. Some standards… :lol: Ohhh I'm really scared they got a MiG-17! RUNNNN!!!! :roll:

I have the impression that this is more an eastern cultural thing than a strict Muslim habit. Egypthian, Syrian and Jordanian muslims certainly don't grow beards.
I think it would have been more fair to Muslims to call the thread: "How to beat the Pakistan Air Force".
Just my opinion.
The article is fun though.
Do their pilots wear flight suits or what...?

Wow. Seperation of religion and military. That is noteworthy.


When General Musharraf dies, all this "progressive" stuff will die with him. I have read that the Muslim royality has -- historically -- held themselves "aloof" from fundamentalist Islam. That is to say, they were the ones that compromised rather than declaring another jihad against another rival. And for Pakistan, it seems to me, Musharraf follows this philosophy.



From time to time, a Newton, a Madam Curie, a Musharraf, a Tycho Brahe (and that little putz of a mathematician, Kepler!) come along and make some fairly extraordinary advancements...even in the barren midst of the desert.

on a slightly less humorous point guys... and one which i feel compelled to make, seeing the direction of recent postings here lately... there are quite a few some Muslim members of this community... members like you and me... members who might be a lil taken with this sort of thread...

the guy next door to you in London... the cute lil secretary in the next cubicle... Cat Stevens... the Australian office manager putting the shrimp on the barby at the cookout... the owner of the local deli... like so many Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Bhuddists, Methodists, etc... they are from a wide range of ethnicities, walks of life, preferences, etc... and they are part of this community... by their own choice...

now i realize that this thread is meant to be humorous only... please... lets keep in mind who and what we are...
