Salute to all those who worked so hard on the Grey Wolves Mod.

One teeny complaint however. The blow emergency ballast sound is gone. It is there in the tonnage war mod though.

I can probably fix it myself if someone out there knows what file the blow ballast sound is. That way I could copy it from the Tonnage War mod into my GW mod.

The sound you are looking for is in the Speech folder, there´s lot of 'Blow ballast' files, so I think you have to copy the files from all the 9 speech folders. :up:

We will have the "blow ballast" sound fixed via the speech file work-around.

We had made a really nice "blow ballast" .wav file that is included in the GW download... but it turns out that it is apparently a broken sound in SH3. I reverted to stock SH3 to check... and got no sound at all apart from the standard speech response.

I will use the blow ballast speech files from RUb as the alternative in the upcoming GW update...

However, I've read the file credits for RUb three times now and cannot find who to credit for those files...

Can anyone tell me who made them?

However, there is no name on the readme. :( (It seems there are lots of mods with no names on Readmes.

Also here is the Readme from DocAguirre's Das Boot Compressed Air Speech Mod.... (Even though he didn't include his forum name on it.)

" These three files are replacement files that add the sound of compressed air being blown
from the tanks when you utilize the emergency blow ballast (Key E).

Please esnure to backup your originals and since this is freeware,
please distibute, change, modify, as you wish : ) "

I will include both his german version and your english version in the upcoming GW update. It seems DocAguirre has not posted in some time now.

All credit will be given to DocAguirre for the German version and Dimitrius07 for the English version.

This is a great work-around for another stock SH3 bug!

Yea!!! Now when I do emergency blow, there is a huge amount of noise, as there should be. Thank you to those that found and made this mod.
