Back to the sea

Well after a while beached in world of warcraft, the sea has beckoned me again

After ensuring I had the correct patch, and looked up how to steer my boat again I sat in awe of the graphics, gameplay and thrill of seeking out my prey.

However, I have been away for some time so anything changed? I never used mods before, which ones (if any) should I get to make the experience even more enjoyable?

Get the grey wolves mod. It's the difference between riding a bicycle and riding a motorcycle; sure you can pedal, but put an engine on, add gas and you'll be able to pick up chicks and wear leather pants. :-j

What one person likes you may not. Just try them out for yourself see which ones you like.

Now there's a mod I'd like to see. Especially the leather pants part. :D

Seriously, try out Grey Wolves or NYGM Tonnage War. The former is heavier on the eye candy, while the latter is an attempt at hard-core realism. I use both (with some tweaks, of course).

Yeah I have been reading up on those mods and I'll give em a try :|\

When I first played SHIII I remember going into a port and the only thing in there were seagulls, last night I went in and it was like a turkey shoot  , 2 C2's, 1 tanker and a destroyer all parked up...they now sleep with the fish's :rotfl:

Guess thats thanks to one of the patches anyways...thx guys for your help.
