How to sail with decks awash (from RUB 1.45 / IUB 1.03)

Please help me with the deck awash thing... How can i sail with it? Just setting manually the depth to let's say 8 meters?

What is its purpose?

Yep just set the depth a little lower. The deck's going to submerge with the crew still on the tower. In reality this had two advantages:

1. The dive tanks are pre-flooded and the sub will dive faster.
2. The sub presents less of a silhouette for the enemy eyes and radar, since only the tower is above the surface.

In the game I didn't find the setting to have much of an effect on either of those two things, but it greatly adds to immersion when planning a night sneak attack :)

It's a Mod called "Improved Uboat"

But Please:
Before asking a question like that try to familiarize yourself with this forum and those little abbreviations which are floating around in this forum. And also try to use the "search" functions. Otherwise stuff like:
GW (Grey Wolves Mod)
NYGM (Not Your Grandmothers ... Mod)
HT (Harbor Traffic Mod)
RUB (Real Uboat Mod Collection)
JSGME (JS Generic Mod Enabler)
will also have little meaning to you. :know:
