China bans weird baby names
http://www.news.com.au/story/0,10117...-13762,00.html
What  I don't know what next from China ;) |
Well since they don’t use an alphabet like most of the rest of us it kinda makes sense in a strange communist dictatorship kinda way.
Maybe the US should adopt this law, I see a lot of strange names on the news every time there is a shooting in the city and some of them are not spelled correctly. Their parents didn’t even bother to spell their child’s name right! What’s up with that? |

They have 30,000 public employees banning words from Google, but they can't add another 50 to upgrade the software/hardware?
If they took the 30,000 censors and made each of them program one character they'd be halfway done in a month. Sounds like plain lazyness to me, and doing otherwise would contradict Mao's Cultural revolution anyway. Death to ancient Chinese already. |
Watch out those little red books are coming out ;)

We have several names thats banned in Norway. The reason being some childnames makes them an easy offer in primary school.
