Converted Whale Factory Ship 1.1 Released - Upgrade
Here is a new version of the NCVW. I have fixed a few things:
- Both NYGM and NON-NYGM .zon files are included. - One more 'new skin' made from other ships' combined skins (a kitbashed skin?). Maybe it's too red though...I don't have a shot yet. - ID Image now with draft. I was sent a ID image from KptnLt Eric Karle with the zones on it, but they were actually still in the original places so I couldn't use it. :( - NCVW_ge.log now with correct entries. I really recommend that you upgrade from 1.0. Here is a link - it is also in my signature now. http://rapidshare.de/files/15844834/...e_1.1.zip.html |
Ok, one question, Is it necessary rollback SH3 Commander before I upgrade from 1.0? Or can I ignore it?
|
It shouldn't affect anything else - just replace the current folder NCVW with the one in this release. And if you are using NYGM, make sure to use the appropriate .zon file which has been included.
|
Now it's suddenly unavailable - Techinical Maintenence or something.
EDIT: - Never mind, it's working again. |

I have now uploaded the NCVW on FileFront, if anyone would like to download it there. I haven't submitted it to FileFront though, because I am not sure if they would want a Kitbash in their own archives. :-?

excellent  managed to download it off rapidshare at last :|\
|
Double post :damn:

I improved the pages of the recognition manual.
Fixed the shadowing and water reflection, plus you have the low contrast version. Get it there http://rapidshare.de/files/15874477/NCVW_Sil.zip.html http://img58.imageshack.us/img58/4961/ncvwsil6ns.jpg |
Thanks AG124, for the upgrade, nice work! & thanks Jonz, you saved me a job! :D
Cheers. |
nice work! love it! thanks!

Wow, thanks.
How did you do those reflections - I managed to fix the draught but I couldn't figure those out. I assume you used Paint Shop Pro - I don't have that but I have a lot of others including ArcSoft Photo Suite. |

All I did is to copy the angles and paste it right on it.then I fliped the layer and squeeze it a bit. Then I set the opacity at 30~40% and apply a gradient mask on that layer. |
:hmm: I see. I believe at least some of those options may be included in ArcSoft. I will have to try later if I release another ship.
|
By the way, AG124, you'll be delighted to know that this monster actually does show up in the campaign, in case you weren't sure.
I sunk one last night...........very pleasing. Nearly had a heart attack when I saw it though. Tony |
