SHII Commander A question.

*Sigh* I am not having luck with sorting things out today.

I just tried to use SHIICOmmander to edit my crewmembers but none of the changes I made seemd to 'stick'. I tried to give my Warrant officer the Medic rating. I clicked on it, it asked if I was sure and then I clicked the apply button. The symbol did not appear in SHIII COmmander when I clicked on the warrant officer's name and now back in the game he does not have the correct rating.

Obviously, I missed a step. So how do you edit the ratings, etc. for members of the crew?

Thanks,

Is your boat and your crew in the dock? I think stuff doesn't 'stick' if you're out to sea when you try make any changes. You didn't mention where you were. :hmm:

Sorry.

I was in port between missions.

I assume you dragged the medic symbol and dropped it up in the "Qualifications" box?

I did try clicking and draging, but I only saw the 'invalid' symbol. Obviously I wasn't dragging to the correct place. I will try again. If I'm still stuck, you will see me back here.

Thanks!

I have another question on the same subject. I have SH3 Commander 2.4 . In the settings it gives you the option to check real ship names in the patrol log. However once I'm in the game , no names appear, only the default C2 or whatever. Is the ship names a Commander feature or does it really come from another Mod like Rub . :hmm:

Any thoughts?

Mods I'm running SH3 commander Fullvunribility, Smoke and explosion.

They show up when you view the patrol history in SH3 Commander.

They also show up in game if you read that last patrol Captain's log when you view Patrol History from the main menu.

Another noob question: can I use SH3 Commander to only change my patrol grid? I don't want it messing with anything else.[/i]
