mines
helllo im playing silent hunter 3 with the lastest sh3 commander installed and would like to know what harbours have mines in them

I play with the harbor traffic mod, and it comes with maps of all the friendly ports as it modifies some of them and shows where the mines are. As far as enemy ports, I've only been in a couple so I couldn't say for sure. I think I remember coming across some quite rudely I must say in Scapa Flow, but I can't remember for sure, might've been Lock Ewe or one of the other Scotland ports.
This is a good question and hope someone out there has a map or list of enemy harbor mines? Or maybe that'd be too easy, and I shouldn't cheat and just find out on my own, can't decide. I'll let fate decide and see if anyone else replies to this post. :ahoy: |
Is the harbor mod part of commander? I have the 2.4 version installed. If so where do you access the maps?
|
SH3 Commander is only for crew management, really. To add mines and such, you need to add one of the other mods like RUN 1.45 (I think).

The maps come with Harbor Traffic 1.47. They're on the navmap screen in the upper left corner, just pull them down. Don't know if RUB, IUB or other mods have this feature.

From what I've read, the new IUB 1.03 contains a side map on the Navigation map of friendly harbors and their mines/anti-sub net locations.
I've installed the mod myself, but I haven't had the chance to confirm it. If it's true, the life has become a whole lot eaiser! |

HT 1.47 has minefields (includes a non-minefields version inside). |
