Snorkel and the IXC

Just finished a home made mission with the IxC. May 1944

Started off Lisbon, and received orders to head through Gibraltar.... :o

Made alot of random gen airgroups and hunter killers, along with convoys, and a few surface battle groups for targets... :dead:

Mostly, had to dodge aircraft  Since I installed the NASA battery fix mod, my batteries are flat after a half dozen crash dives! Snorting is a neccessity. :|\

Found I was a radar magnet with the snort depth at 11m, I since have altered it to 14m and now can time compress...for the most part....at 128. I did get hit a few times, but only minor damage.....

A question: I had a few instances where I decided to fight it out...did not destroy any aircraft, but had a few crew lose all their health, did not die, but they recovered with the doc in the forward compartment.

How are men "injured"? Do crewmen's health always recover?

Nice to hear that (about the batteries). I thought it would be more noticable in IIAs and IXD/2. Crash diving means flank speed, and this is a no-no for the battery; but there is no other choice.

Did your batteries fell under 25%? I am asking, since after that, your underwater speed starts to decline.
