Do you have a link to that site? Where you saw it at.

Yep that's it.

Wulfmann,

Can you post more details: where you read/find it and you really already have it? :hmm:

Thanks!

Rubini.

That is one of the 2 Italian light cruisers in the Seawolves next add on. This one (unlike the first, IMO) will be very worth while with 45 new ships.
But, there are so many people that hate these guys that posting any info here invites a flame war.
What is especially cool about these is they escort convoys to North Africa and I was setting up to attack this convoy when I thought the DD looked odd that was leading it. It had a turret amidships and I started thinking it was the new Navigatori class DD also in this package (I am beta testing it).
Because it was after dusk it was hard to make out but in over 10 months I had never seen a friendly convoy and it made me more careful to identify my targets after this incident.
The campaign is the 23rd Flotilla out of Salamis, Greece where the U-331 was based when it sank the HMS Barham.

:o

Great! Perhaps now Seawolves will do a correct work and in peace with modders!

And please post more info to us.
Is the new Seawolves Campaign full of news like that? Can you tell more about for us? (I should not to return to that old annoying discussion...so only a player's curiosity).

Thanks!

Being I test it I can assure you it is all new original stuff including new sounds and effects.
One thing I particularly like is when you are attacking a ship with the deck gun there is explosions from every hit and many secondary explosions. I have even assumed a ship was sunk more than once because it was totally immersed in smoke and flames only to realize it was still afloat and trying to get away.
There are many more air attacks by the Luftwaffe. I see them all the time and they respond fairly quick to my reports. But, they have also sunk ships I was stalking or had damaged and was setting up to finish off. It is cool to watch the Brits engage the planes with their AA blasting away.
Yesterday a Sloop was about 300 yards from me when it shot down a Ju88 and that crashed into the sloop (Frigate). A small tanker was badly hit and on fire nearly running me down and I was in this cloud of smoke (they have increased the smoke a lot from damage). The bombs were falling around me and I was lucky not to suffer damage.
All very cool.
I have played SH3 since last May but I have had many new experiences I never had before this add-on.

I believe X-1 is doing this mod the right and correct way. I also believe the first mod they did was released correct, after they fixed the problems brought to light by their prerelease info on their website. When it was pointed out to them that they had failed to get mod authors permission to use their work, they did the right thing and contacted the mod makers they could find and either got permission, or failing to get permission, pulled the mod out. Unfortunately for them, the damage had already been done. I do hope they do well with this release.

The damage is done.

They'll NEVER get a dime from me, no way, no how !!

Rubini 03-15-06 07:56 AM

Wulfmann,

Thanks for the info. Looking forward for this add on. And only after the release will could said if it's ok or not. But i'm crossing fingers to a peace release with modder's community!

The only thing that upsets me is that, they doesn't try to add new ship models instead of modding of the presented.

Wulfmann 03-15-06 01:26 PM

Actually Hunter, they are making some new complete ground up ships. I just can't say what at this point.
I am also sure if they came on this forum they would tell you I am a pain in the ars to them and I question everything that resembles another mod.
They have even changed some of their original stuff just to be safer.
Ironically they had done ships like Scharnhorst before others but since others have released their done later version I will bet you the cry babies will make a false claim on it.
Let us see if that happens.
