SH3 Commander Problem
I have been running two versions of SH3, one on my C drive and one on a USB external drive (F) with Commander installed separately on each drive. When opening Commander on the F drive it opens the C drive SH3 version !. Reading the help notes on Commander it gives instructions on putting a "/I: switch" on to the Commander shortcut target. I have tried dozens of variations onto this F drive shortcut but always get "invalid" messages and opening only of the C drive SH3.
Has anyone succeeded in running two versions in this way ?? I am not sure what the "/I:" switch is or exactly which keys to use. I run an Iub and a Rub version. Cheers |
Wait, you are running SH3 off of an external USB drive?
I can't answer your question, but I need to know why you are doing that? |
SH3 Commander Problem
I Run an 80GB hard drive as a backup facility for various files, it is an external drive via USB. An installed SH3 Iub runs very well on this drive and gives me Two options of playing the game and trialling mods. I need to be able to run Commander on each drive, each opening that drives version of SH3. I have Commander 2.4 installed.

It's actually a /l switch - l as in location. Damn antiqua fonts! Try the shortcut target as:
"C:\<installpath>\SH3 Commander\SH3Cmdr.exe" /l:"F:\<installpath>\SilentHunterIII\" |
