Has anyone seen a LST in their patrols?
 

Some folks say that they haven't seen a Battleship, or a Carrier or even a Passenger Liner in their patrols... but has anyone seen a LST?

I have not once seen a Landing Tank Ship (LST) in any of the 15 careers that I've completed. Has anyone seen one out there? If so, when and where?

I think there only in the single missions. People have asked before and no one has sighted one in a career.

Maybe one of the mods may make this happen, but I've never seen one.

I posted this topic quite some time ago, as I hadn't seen one either. Someone answered and said they had seen they during 1943 along the Italian coast somewhere. So yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus ...

In my own quest I just have to sink an Illustrious and an LST and I will finally have sunk everything in the game, but I just don't want to go to Italy ....

I'm currently running a Med campaign from La Spezia and came across one anchored at Tobruk. That's about it really...

The patrols in the Med don't bring a real lot of stuff so you quickly turn to raiding ports instead...
