Adding a new ship in the Reconnaissance Book. How?
I installed some new boats but they did not come with a Reconaissance manual image.
I just want to do it myself, but I need tips on how making a viewport to 0-20-45 degrees for screenshots. These screenshots will be used to make new TGA files. thx EDIT: made precisions to prevent confusions. |

Ok, so it must be on the Data/ Sea folder editing the same Cfc there, i've done it one time with the ecex carrier, and in his readme file it comes the way to do it... This link http://www.subsim.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=48948 Hope this helps  |
Again, it not related to stats or editing config files.
We're talking about editing the TGA files here, but I need a perfect angle screenshots to put them on the TGA. |
The best solution I can think is extracting the objects with pack3d, importing them in a 3d software an making a render, if you try to do it within sh3 (capturing a screenshot) you still have to do a lot of drawing to eliminate the water.
If the weekend is ok let me know and I'll make the renders for you, so you can edit them in the rec manual format. Ref. |
