Hello guys, as promised when released the last intro screen and missons loading screen, been working on this new version , basiclly are the same graphics but since the intro and the mission loading svreen was not fiting propally the screen and graphiclly where out of some standart, reworked both of them , tested for a cople of times and now everything is fixed and fit to the screen, as also improved a lot on the graphic apearence and add the Ubisoft credits on the intro screen...!
Intro screenshot http://img111.imageshack.us/img111/2082/intro8rr.jpg Missions loading screenshot http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/4...issions9rb.jpg Download Link for Intro V.2 http://files.filefront.com/JCW_Intro.../fileinfo.html Thanks for the suport from all the great MODERS in this comunity that helped me with constructive critics and that way leading me on the graphics improvement... Hope you like my work ... |
Absolutely beautiful loading screen. I like how you've incorporated in game images with new images of your own. Very immersive. I think I'll use this.
Thanks! MQA |
Again I don't like how the compass is dissociated compared to the others objects, this time the sharp edges :|\
The compass is mine, don't use it :stare: , jk, but I dislike the rounded edges, if you ever saw a chrono casing, it just square. The only thing I rounded are the corners, but I just kept the surface flat edged. And the blur on the book is too heavy compared of the crispiness of the others objects. Watch out for the shadow castings. Seems your light source is on the bottom left corner, but some objects have the shadow casted the wrong way (the badge). Also, I'd suggest to remove the lens flare... very amateurish. But definitly a way lot better than the original desktop pic you made. I could just make those modifications I just mentionned and conserve it for my IuB :hmm: |

Thanks bro, when you'll see it on the screen during the game loading it's even better looking.... See ya... |
WOW :o
|
If you ever make a v3, could you please try to remove that brown pencil from the top right corner of the mission load screen? It has bugged me since the moment of SHIII's release. :P
That'd make by day :D |
Remove the awful "Kriegsmarine COMMANDER" stamp, and it's perfect!
Hey and i remember this glove... i've buyed a pair of them last summer in an Army Outlet store :-j |

Sorry bro but, now I've read carfully your post, and saw this line about the compass! :o :stare: And I quote! " The compass is mine, don't use it . " First I never Used anything to make a new Mod with your compass, Second it's your compass I know that but the Ingame screenshote is mine! If I have to Ask every creator on this forum permition for posting a Screenshote the apears some of ther stuff, I will simply don't post nothing! And finally Sorry if I offended you in anyway or thing , but if you see it It's not a new MOD using your compass that you've got there and that I personally think it's a brilliante Mod from you and game add on... Last, I will not defenetlly ask anyone permition to post one of my ingame screenshots, or use them to make any kind of work of mine using game fotos, as long as i don't take credit for your compass, or any Mods that are not mine!!! :stare: It sims also that since I've started Making some graphics you've naver took the time to say anything good about them man, I apreciate the greatings as i apreciate constructive critics, but it sims that at least with me you're uncapable of saying any good stuff... ...Do no why!!! Never was mi intention ofending you! Apollogies! |
erhm, I said 'jk' after don't use it.. that's mean Just Kidding :shifty:
You can use the the compass of coarse :ping: |

No prob, man, I know that I've got to improve a lot in this graphics from SHIII, but personally , with you it sims that what I do it's never good or OK, and for example i think this time this graphics are preaty cool.... ;) Don't take mi words the rong way, and if you whant to change it yoursellf be mi guest bro, and do it... No problem mate... Also if you whant to use it some how in a MOD of yours it's also OK bud   |
Alright :), but I insist to revise the things I pointed to you that seems incorrect. Oh yeah, and Photoshop bevel effects is prohibited in our department :|\ (the compass).
The Desktop thing can be very cool if it doesn't look like a "collage". Normally at work, if someone showed me that kind of work I will said the Idea is ok but the entire artwork will be redone from scratch by the CG department :stare: Yeah I know you don't want that, so how about to try to correct the basics. Just look at the shadows of the paper (BdU patrol reports that we all know). The shadow is casted downside, but every shadows on the rest is casted upward. The light reflection on the compass is hitting on the up side but the shadow is cast upright... get the idea now? As for the book, the book already in Vanilla SH3 had a very weak texture, it just look like a flat square with a PS filter applied on it. What I do in these moments is to google a bit (or take photos from the studios) and rework it at higher res. All the objects must have at least the same resolutions, otherwise it will look like a collage. (the pen also blurry, will be a good idea to remove it or replace it). Alright, awaiting V3 :sunny: :|\ |
no , the next version will be much later now, I'm trying out a VIIC subs skin....
and do no how much time is gona take to do it, so....this next V.3 intro version will have to whayt... :hmm:  |
