Grrrr....Welll..Im trying to pinpoint this sub for more than 6 hrs....And still I don have idea where is she?!!?!

Im talking about red storm rising campaign...2nd mission..

im on course 63 and my hello is some 30nm east from me...butstill no solution...plz...dont give me any spoil...Im just curious (layer is on 350)..Is that sub there...?!?!.. :damn:
becose i used all my helo resources and still no contacts..*still i cant force him to use his own dip sonar,wich make me mad....GRRRRRRRRR)any tips??...tx?

Just wondering, are you using the LWAMI realism mod, or is your DW 'stock'? (the Red Storm Rising campaign was built without using LWAMI, so I can't say how it performs for people who have added that mod).

Even for me, without LWAMI, the sub was quite far away (20 miles ?). It really took some time.

Also the mission hear russion port, I guess it is the 4th one ? It is terribly hard. There are holes swarming, in the moment there are 4 enemy subs in range, moving fast. If you move fast, they found you and shoot. If you don't move fast, they get closer and find you again. It is really difficult mission.
I' failed it 5 times. Then I looked at it in the mission editor :-/

I used 1.03 with LW/Ami 3.0 beta, and detected the Foxtrot at start of game on the towed array.

Back when I beta'd this mission with 1.01 and no mods, detection was also at start of game.

Maybe you guys are letting the TA sink under the layer while the sub is shallow?

I think at the begining of the mission he's on diesels creating the trace and then switches to battery.
