Is there any large hi-res ones? I have one that's hi-res, but the moon itself is too small.

Also, is there any way to get anymore light at night? The moon doesnt really seem to cast much light for me. I see its reflection, but no light casting at all on the water. Its almost pitch black out there.

yeah, night is dark and day is light. Sort of suppose to be that way.

The moon is modeled well in relative size, there is a huge moon mod somewhere out there - perhaps search will show it.

Yeah I know, but I don't get any moon light at all at night. Pretty much nothing on the water. That doesn't seem very realistic to me. On a perfectly clear night, the moon is going to light things up a little. It really doesnt in this game.

Well it's no big deal. More light means that ill be seen easier I guess which isnt good.

I found a few other threads all very similar in content (one focuses on the night sky changes included in RUb).

And it also depends on what time of year it is and where you are. The Moon may not show up at all during the night.
