...the graphics, sound, landscape and immersion of Virtual Sailor
...the "mod"-ability of Virtual sailor
...combined with the sonar model, AI, and warfare of DW. :yep:

...think that it exist? Is it out there and I just don't know it yet?

On a semi-related note... does anyone know how the graphics of SHIII compare to the graphics of Virtual Sailor? Same? Better? Worse?

Could you elaborate on the immersion bit? I downloaded the demo to get an impression of my own, but there's hardly time test a fraction of the controls until it pops a "Demo over" message. Worst demo I've seen so far.

Virtual saior yeah it is pretty bad.

That's what I said a while ago.

It's like they believe the game is so good 5 minutes are enough to purchase it, or they believe the game is so bad if they give you more time than that you'll notice how bad it is and never purchase it.

I'm waiting for the next version, I have no hurry to buy such a thing.

The Hearts of Iron: Doomsday demo gives you 3 hours of playing time. THAT's a demo!

I smell the same rat. The game must be pretty shallow if they have a demo like that. I'm looking for a sim that could be useful for learning, preferably one that shows telltales (those ribbons on the sails) and models flapping of the sails, broaching etc.
