Custom Ships in Destroyer Command Campaigns?

I'm trying to make it so I use another ship in the Atlantic DC Campaign, I tried replacing the command line in the campaign SDF file (AC01 Operation Drumbeat.sdf) like it says in the FAQ but no luck.

Anybody know how?

Just replace the ship type of your player ship with the ship name (referenced by the ship UDF) in the file.
