some sort of dead bug?
 

Every time I dock at a port(and after a successful patrol) I'm dead. Nothing has damaged my boat but my career just stops. I end the mision by docking at port and then it goes to the end of patrol logs but it the one you get when you die.

Whats going on?

EDIT: saw the post in the other forum, but this is different, it really does put me back to the main menu, I cant give medals or go to another patrol. I'm using RUb 1.45(and nothing but skins and effects)

I guess no one likes a newcomer.

Never heard of this problem. The only thing I can think of is hitting 'neutral' shipping so hard, and being penalized right out of the campaign? That doesn't sound correct though.

Maybe someone knows the answer. Best bet is to un-install/re-install SH3. Or another thing worth a try; abandon your current campaign, delete (or hide) your 'Sh3' folder on drive C: (holds save-game info) and start a new campaign.

some members of the crew of my u-boat swear they saw your captain being driven off in a Gestapo car as soon as he set foot on the docks. it sounded very interesting....

Does it happen with a newly started campaign?
